Information for
Playwrights
Thank you for your interest in
the Gloucester Stage Company (GSC). Since its inception,
development and presentation of new work has been a key
component of GSC's mission. We are happy to receive new works
from emerging and well-established writers.
Although we would like to support
the development of plays of every scope and genre, we are
focusing, at this juncture, on works that are producible at
Gloucester Stage. We appreciate creativity and originality, but
large casts (more than six actors), elephants, and water ballets
are beyond our means!
About Our Venue
Gloucester Stage
is a 600 sq. foot thrust surrounded by 175 seats. There are no
wings or fly space. Actors enter and exit via upstage and
downstage entrances.
